Join us for Jesus, The Way, The Truth, and The Life!
Jesus is our savior, our redeemer, our Lord, and our God. Our belief in Jesus makes us who we are as Catholics and Christians, but do we really know him as we should? Is he a part of your life, or is he at the center of your life as he should be?
This 10-week video study program is anchored in the life of Christ as presented in the Gospels. We’ll explore the entirety of Jesus’ life—who he is, what he is really like, what he taught, what he did for our salvation, and what all of this means for us as Catholics today.
The Ascension Press study is presented by Marcellino D’Ambrosio, Jeff Cavins, and Edward Sri and was filmed in the Holy Land so you can experience the extraordinary world in which Jesus lived and taught—the historical context, the politics, the clashing cultures, the history, and the ancient land—and see where the most significant events of his life took place, from his infancy to his ascension.
We will meet from 7:00-8:30 pm each Wednesday beginning on January 4, 2023, for seven sessions before Ash Wednesday and three more sessions during Lent. The study will end the week before the Parish Mission starts in March 2023. It will be a great way to prepare for Lent and the Parish Mission!
Each meeting will begin with a prayer and cover any items that need to be addressed. From 7:15 to approximately 7:45 will break up into smaller groups to discuss the study materials for the week and have refreshments. We will watch the video from 7:45-8:15, share any group comments from their discussion of the weekly materials or the video, and end with a prayer by 8:30.
