Baptism

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism, we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission. 

Infant baptisms are regularly scheduled for the third Sunday of the month after the 11:00 AM Mass or by special appointment. Please contact the parish office at (913) 533-2464 to schedule. 

Monthly Baptism Classes are required for first time parents & godparents.  These classes are held in the church at 7:00pm for the following 2024 dates.

• August 21st 
• September 18th
• October 15th
• November 20th
• December 11th 

Adults who wish to be baptized are invited to learn more about the Christian faith through a process known as the Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA).  Click Here for additional information.
