QHR - Wea's Religious Education program is structured to support parents in forming their children to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
1st-8th grade SOR Classes are held in-person on two Sundays per month. My Catholic Faith Delivered online learning platform is used for at-home learning the other two weeks per month for 1st-8th grades.
Four-year-old to kindergarten-age children participate in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) in-person on two Sundays per month and have take-home lessons the other two weeks per month. CGS is limited to 15 children per class.
Typically, SOR begins mid-September and runs through the end of April (depending on the timing of Easter). For the 2022-2023 SOR year, SOR will start with an in-person class on Sunday, September 18th. Please see the calendar provided in the margin to the left. Children meet from 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM (between the 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM Sunday masses) in the school. Drop-off is through the main school entrance, the north double doors.
Besides the regular weekly in-person and online classes, additional meetings are scheduled for parents of children in Sacrament years (2nd and 8th grades). These meetings are noted on the School of Religion (SOR) calendar provided in the margin to the left.
Parents wishing to enroll their child(ren) in QHR - Wea's SOR should complete the enrollment form and make their payment by clicking here. 2022-2023 enrollment begins August 8.
