The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization that provides service to the parish, emphasizes and supports the family, is involved with the community, and aspires to increase the spirituality of its members. Worldwide, the Knights of Columbus have donated more than $1.367 billion and 640 million hours to support charitable initiatives over the last decade.
The Wea Council #12546 of the Knights of Columbus was founded in 1999 and currently has more than 240 members. We proudly donate thousands of dollars annually to local charitable causes as well as thousands of volunteer hours to support our parish as well as community and youth activities. Our council hosts a large number of activities throughout the year, which include the following:
Proceeds support local seminarians, fund college scholarships for parish graduates and Don Rooney Scholarship opportunities, and provide for donations to the Crisis Pregnancy Center, local food pantries, and our school, among others. The Wea Council supports all parish activities to the extent possible, to include annual events such as Running with the Cows, the Bazaar, and the Auction.
